synopsis
“The world pushed too far in any direction will push back!” So warns the wise professor in “BEHEMOTH,” a new motion picture from director W. D. Hogan.
The once quiet town of Ascension is rocked to its heels when a dormant volcano begins to grumble. But Special Agents from the DOD soon discover evidence of an ancient enormous beast, THE BEHEMOTH, ready to rise from its earthen grave. It’s up to our heroes to locate the DODs special weapon and destroy the monster before it’s too late!
“BEHEMOTH” is a SyFy Original motion picture produced by Cinetel Films and Reel One Entertainment. Directed by W. D. Hogan and written by Rachelle S. Howie, “BEHEMOTH” airs on SyFy Channel January 15, 2011 at 9 p.m.

An incredible cast was assembled for “BEHEMOTH,” led by the strong and charismatic ED QUINN (”Eureka,” “True Blood”). He was joined by the talented WILLIAM B. DAVIS (”X-Files”) and captivating PASCALE HUTTON (”Fringe,” ”Smallville”).
Breakout performances by CINDY BUSBY (”Vampire Diaries,” ”Heartland”) and JESSICA PARKER KENNEDY (”V,” ”Smallville”) are complimented from strong supporting roles by TY OLSSON (”Battlestar Galactica,” “2012”) and JAMES KIRK (”X2,” “Sanctuary”).

director
W. D. HOGAN (”Soldier of God,” “The Matrix: Path of Neo”) directed the feature film “BEHEMOTH” on location in the mountains of British Columbia. Working with a world class crew the film was shot over three weeks in extremely adverse conditions.
Executive produced by LISA HANSEN and TOM BERRY the film was produced by JOHN PRINCE.
“BEHEMOTH” was shot on 35mm film by accomplished Director of Photography ANTHONY METCHIE, production designed by JAMES WILCOX and costume designed by KERRY WEINRAUCH.
The film was edited by CHRISTOPHER A. SMITH, composed by MICHAEL NEILSON and VFX were handled by LUX in Vancouver.
